                      The
                        weather in these parts has not been conducive for moth
                        nights. It seems the only time the humidity has gotten
                        anywhere near the desired level, it's rained. So I've
                        dipped into the files for this week's MOW. This Black-etched
                        Prominent (Cerura scitiscripta) was
                        photographed at Florida's Loxahatchee National Wildlife
                        Refuge on January 15. It should occur in the northeast,
                        as well, so it's allowed on this web site.  |
