The Jamaica Bay Moth Research
Center is finally ready. Okay, I'm the only one that
calls it that. It's actually the new visitor center at
the Wildlife Refuge and it's not quite open yet. But the
construction fence did come down, allowing me to
blacklight there for the first time in four years. To
celebrate my return August 3, a new record was furnished
for the overall Jamaica Bay survey in the form of this
Morning-Glory Prominent (Schizura
ipomoeae). |
