                      This
                        frustrating spring continues to bring cool nights with
                        low humidity, not the kind that beg one to go out for
                        moths. With such a pattern, this seems to have
                        become the Moth of the Month page. Anyway, a brief
                        switch to warmer, southwest winds May 15 brought out a
                        few moths (and a lot of warblers) to Jamaica Bay,
                        including a new local record. This Mottled
                        Gray Carpet (Cladara limitaria) of the
                        Geomtrid subfamily Larentinae was found at Floyd Bennet
